Faizal Darries Foundation started in 2014 with the vision to create awareness about the origins of Islam in South Africa from its birthplace by offering:

Educational programs - We educate communities about our culture, traditions and Islamic heritage.

Tours - The 'ORIGIN tour' highlights the key attractions where the first Muslims sought refuge and made their home. We also offer Orientation tours and walking tours.

Publication - To date we have published the pioneering book 'Zanvliet - Cape Town's Islamic Heritage'.

The farm Zandvliet played a significant role in the history of Islam at the Cape. We believe that we have a rich history to tell, as well as bearing the responsibility to do so. Tours provide the extraordinary chance to connect, mingle and share cultural principles with the local community.
